Wordless Wednesday- Let There Be Light 1/10/18

The theme of this week is: Let There Be Light.  All of my photos today were taken yesterday, 1/9/18.  They all have the common theme of being about light.

Sometimes I find January to be depressing but I also forget that there is an optimism to January that presents itself through the longer days and surprising temperature changes.  For example, this past weekend the daytime temperature hovered in the single digits and with the windchill, the temperature felt like it was below zero, but just yesterday we reached a daytime high around 40 degree and it felt great!  These pictures are about light and the optimism of January that can be found in surprising places.

light table
Yesterday we visited the Da Vinci Science center in Allentown and had a great time doing science activities that Patrick was too young to do even last spring.
circuts
We had a good time playing with circuits together and turning on light bulbs, among other things
setting sun
We walked by ourselves, for the first time in a while, and we saw the sun set over Liberty Bell Elementary. It was crisp and refreshing out. We will do it again sometime very soon.

christmas lights
I like Christmas lights in January. I think that sometimes in December I see them without appreciating the stillness and quietness of the season.
