Wordless Wednesday 11/7/2018

Last night I took a very short walk around my neighborhood, probably lasting 15 minutes or less.  I walked between the break in the rain drops between 4:45 pm and 5:00 pm.  The temperature dropped noticeably during that time, probably 10 degrees. I just walked down my street and to the shopping center that is very close to my house. The colors were amazing so I took a few pictures.

When I stepped outside the sky was a brilliant shade of orange and there was a rainbow.  Was this an ominous sight for election day.  For a brief  second I almost believed the world was ending because the sky was so bright and brilliant.

Yes, I live catercorner to a dilapidated house. It is for sale now if anyone is looking to pay an outrageous sum of money for a house you can’t live in.
You could actually see the entire arc of the rainbow yesterday, a rare sight indeed


When I reached the front side of the shopping center maybe five minutes later, this is what I saw
I was standing in the same spot, I just rotated my body slightly to take this picture of the front of the shopping center
Even thought the sky looks clearer and brighter in this picture, it was actually taken moments after the pictures above it
As I got closer to home this is how the sky looked
Finally, this is the sun setting over my neighbors house, taken at around 5:03 pm last night

  1. Katie, I love your pictures. Did you know that many believe that when you see a
    rainbow it is your recently passed loved one telling you they are ok, they love you and they will always be with you in your heart!
