Hello, my name is Katie.
I am a mom, wife, sister, reader, adventurer, seeker, and artist. I started this blog more than five years ago because I needed an outlet for my thoughts. I am primarily a stay-at-home mom with some parttime librarian work thrown in to keep things interesting.
I grew up loving camping, reading, hanging out with my sisters and I played the clarinet and the trumpet in the school band.
I recently finished reading The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron and I am working on less self-censoring and more artistic flow. I love listening to the music of Jonathan Coulton and I want to try a technique where I post more often and worry about the content less in order to make room for more creativity.
I also recently took up playing the guitar and have rediscovered my love of playing music.
Hopefully in coming weeks, you will see more content than you are used to and hopefully posting more content won’t break my brain. But it is a fun experiment right?
