Today was the big day, The Kidsclothesline Children’s Consignment Event. I arrived at 10:07am just after the 10 am opening. I have no idea if there was a line to get in, but there were already a fair number of cars in the parking lot when I arrived. Today was the day of the 50% off sale and there were some great bargains to be had and some stuff that we needed.
I took two pictures of today’s haul. One item that I purchased today that is not pictured in the group picture is the Cl
oud b Twilight Turtle in Purple. On the day he came home from the hospital Patrick was given a Twilight Turtle in Green from his Aunt Liz but that turtle met an unfortunate end earlier this summer. As soon as I came home from the sale, Patrick spotted the turtle in my shopping bag and wanted to play with it right away. Right now he is napping with it.
The purchases I am the most excited about are:
- Little Tikes Basketball Hoop retails for $30-$40 but I purchased it for $12.50
- The Twilight Turtle because it has made Patrick very happy
- 3 New Pairs of Sneakers in sizes 7, 7.5, 8
- Janie and Jack Pumpkin shirt that will be in heavy rotation in October
- New baby supplies that I lost or feel we need more of including crib sheets and changing pad covers (exciting right?)
This sale is the last one for the season. Today I realized that once this sale comes around again in the spring, I will have a new baby. I might not even make it to the sale this coming spring. Who knows? It will be an adventure right that’s for sure.
