Baby Boy Nugget was born last Saturday. I did get to use my labor playlist but only at home. I also used it on the days leading up to when Baby Boy was born. Every night I would take a bath and listen to my playlist. It was very empowering for me to listen. By the time I got to the hospital things were moving along pretty quickly and there was no time for setting up my speaker and iPod.
We are home from the hospital now and are doing well. My parents came and stayed with us for about a week so that we could have their support. It was great and they were very supportive and helpful. We all loved having them here. Mr. Man especially loved it. They took him on many adventures around town and read lots of books with him. Also it was really helpful having them with us because Baby Boy Nugget was born in the middle of the night. We ended up leaving for the hospital in the 1:00 am hour on Saturday morning and Baby Boy Nugget was born at 4:23 am.
I did end up getting the childbirth experience I had hoped for and I found that very empowering. I plan to write about that later in a future post but I wanted to share a few pictures.
