H. Nugget has been working hard this summer! Oh baby, is he working hard!
At the end of June, he attended Scout camp for six days. While he was there had the opportunity to go fishing, boating (both canoeing and fishing from a row boat), orienteering, hiking, swimming, and he learned a little archery. He also learned so many silly songs and skits.
This summer he been attending an extended school year program during some summer mornings. He loves it! The van ride to and from school might be his favorite part!
We have also been practicing reading. We have a chart where we keep track days when he has practiced reading out loud. He has the opportunity to earn rewards from his parents as well as the opportunity to be entered in raffle prizes through our library’s Summer Fun Club! He has unlocked a few rewards this summer!

Go Dog Go is one of my all time favorites! And I love to read it aloud with little people.❤️
Hi Mrs. Polakoski, When my 9 year old was little we used to read it out loud to him but I never appreciated it’s simplicity and repetition until Henry starting to select it as a book that he could read to me. He loves dogs!
H has had a very busy and enriching summer so far! This is a good reminder to me to really get on my summer reading.
