We went camping this past weekend at Hickory Run State Park (here is a past post about Hickory Run, it is one of our favorite parks).
Recently, we were introduced to the Kindling Cracker by friends on our July camping trip. It is a safe way to make kindling sized pieces out of your firewood. The Kindling Cracker was invented by a 13 year old girl in New Zealand after her mother injured her hand with an ax while cutting firewood.
We used ours for the first time last weekend. We did not know what a hit it would be. Mr. Man started using it and the boys became interested. Pretty soon, cracking firewood with the Kindling Cracker became the main attraction of the weekend!
