Every Kid Outdoors: Program Public Lands Pass For 4th Graders

Bandelier National Monument Los Alamos, NM. Visited without children in 2019. Perhaps, this might be the year we go back!

Happy new school year!

Do you have a 4th grader or homeschool 4th grade equivalent student in your house? I know that I do.

If so, read on!

I recently learned about a program that provides a one year free pass to National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands. It is called Every Kid Outdoors. You can learn about it by accessing everykidoutdoors.gov

It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to go online and print your voucher! Visit everykidoutdoors.gov to get your personalized paper voucher.

(This is taken directly from the pamphlet that I picked up when I visited the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge this past summer).

The pass starts on September 1st and goes till until August 31, 2026. Read the official rules and instructions here.

You can use your pass at: National Parks, National Forests, Wildlife Refuges, Reclamation Areas, Conservation Areas, Army Corps of Engineer Recreation Areas, and NOAA Marine Areas.

I do not work for the National Park Service or the Federal Government. This post is not sponsored by anyone. I learned about this great pass program that I can’t wait to use and I wanted to tell other parents or friends of 4th graders about it.

If you get the pass, where do you plan to take it?
