Birthday season visited us in late August. We celebrated H. Nugget’s half birthday and Mr. Katie’s birthday the week that school started.
Happy half birthday to H. Nugget.

We celebrate half birthdays with a half birthday cake and half of the birthday song.
Mr. Katie’s birthday was a few days later. Here is a picture of him blowing out his birthday candles.

Mr. Katie’s sister gifted him a beautiful birthday cake that came in the mail from Gold Belly. It was really quite stunning!
The flyer in the box said that it was made at Over the Rainbow Cakes in Miami, FL. (Not sponsored by, I am just passing on the information for the curious.)
It was delicious and quite exciting for the whole family.
The cake was packed in dry ice to keep it fresh and cold.

Mr. Man and H. Nugget had a good time playing with the dry ice on the day that the cake came in the mail. Mr. Man even put some dry ice in an airtight plastic container to see what happens to dry ice over night. He kept it outside and was hoping that the dry ice would explode the container. That didn’t really happen as far as we could tell but it sure was fun for the boys to play with.
According the website The Bump, September is the month with the most shared birthdays of any other month. September 9th having the most birthdays of any other day in the United States.
That was yesterday!
In fact, September has 9 out of the 10 most shared birth dates in entire year. However, August has the most birthday in the US according to the CDC, followed by July, October, then September. So there are a lot of Virgos out there!
If you are a Virgo, how do you plan to spend your birthday or how did you spend your birthday?
