We visited the Philadelphia Zoo on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Our membership was about to expire and we (I) felt like we should go one more time to get our money’s worth. We did a daytime visit, and did not get to see the LumiNature display, holidays lights in evenings around the zoo, though we went last year and it was lovely.
We did get to take advantage of our Family Plus membership and we all rode on the rainforest carousel together.
Check out this gorilla work-of-art made out of car hoods that lives at the zoo. Its flamingo hood is a festive holiday touch.
They love a vehicle, especially Nugget.
They also love posing behind those things that they have in public places that are built for posing. And pretend driving, it’s the best!
