The reality is that we were quite tickled with Oban. I liked Inverness but I loved Oban.

We spent a weekend in the Highlands of Scotland. I would very much like to go there again in my lifetime.
We visited the town of Pitlochry in eastern Scotland. The historic market town sits on the River Tummel and is the gateway to the Scottish Highlands.
We took a flight from Newark, New Jersey to Edinburgh, Scotland in early August. I was excited to see the land of Sean Connery and Outlander.
