Hello, my name is Katie.
I am a many things A parent, an adventurer, seeker, a writer and a librarian. I started this blog more than five years ago in order to connect with others in a broader way than was available to me in my day to day life.
I grew up loving camping, reading, hanging out with my sisters and I played the clarinet and the trumpet in the school band. Recently, I have started learning to play the guitar and it has helped me to rediscover my love of music.
I recently finished reading The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron and I am working on less self-censoring and more artistic flow. I love listening to the music of Jonathan Coulton and I want to try a technique where I post more often and worry about the content less in order to make room for more creativity.
I am always hoping to post more and learn how to self-censor less.
