Now that the holiday season is over, it is time for me to start thinking about the New Year and the imminent changes that are about to take place. I think I would be lying if I said that I was not somewhat apprehensive about the New Year. I am very glad that we will be meeting our new arrival soon, but still it is very nerve racking to have a new baby on the way.
9 Things I Am Looking Forward to In 2018
- Birth of baby
- Continuing to work at library or at least out of the house on a part-time basis
- Patrick bonding with the new baby. (I am sure we parents will bond with new baby too!)
- New baby sleeping
- Before arrival of baby, switching around furniture in our rooms downstairs to make an: 1) office/ Mom and Dad room and a 2) Guest room/ playroom
- Putting up a TV in the guest room/ playroom so Patrick can watch TV while I am taking care of baby
- Baby accompanying Patrick and me on adventures like playground and other outings.
- Continuing to blog
- Incorporating new baby into family fun
I am sure we will love new baby as much as we love this one (from December 2015) What are you looking forward to in 2018?
