I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. I promise. I just have been working diligently on a few different projects.
Here is one of them . . .
I am proud to introduce my new website, The Library Quizzo Site found at www.libraryquizzo.com. It is a website for library staff and lay people who wish to get a team trivia program started at their library or community place. I have included information about the rules of quizzo and how to play. I have also included some free question rounds and picture rounds. There is all sorts of information for people who are interested in starting a quizzo game. Additionally, I will be updating the website monthly with more questions for use in game play. If you subscribe to this website, you will be sure to receive the new question in your e-mail monthly.
That is all for my pitch.
I am going to present information about my website at the Pennsylvania Library Association Conference later this month. I had some business cards made that I am going to pass out after my talk. I am also going to give on to really anybody who talks to me at the conference.
I have been working on this website since early August. I have been trying to fit in time when my children are napping or once everyone is asleep at night. It has been time consuming, I will say that but I am proud of it.
Working on this website has also made me interested in working on the look of my blog. I am going to work on that once the conference is over and after early November when I am done training for my half marathon. I am still doing that. So yes, all my big events are happening within three weeks of each other. Preparing for the Library Conference and training for my half marathon are keeping me on my toes, I will say that.
