Today the 4 year old asked me if vultures eat bunnies. I said no, they only eat dead things. They eat carrion, so if the bunny is dead they would eat it.
Then I told him that is what that Fun song, that we keep listening to on Alexa, is about- Carry On- on-on. He just looked at me like I was weird. He is right too.
Hi Katie: We have a live eagle nest cam here in the Pittsburgh area. A few years ago, one of the eagles carried a cat into the nest and fed it to the baby eagles. It happened live on the eagle cam. The organization that organized the cam issued a statement that the cat was probably road kill, and that the eagle most likely didn’t kidnap somebody’s pet cat.
