Kindergarten Nugget’s 6th Birthday

Hi All,

This past weekend, we celebrated Kindergarten Nugget’s 6th birthday. We went to the Please Touch Museum (again) in Philadelphia because he had a such a good time last time that we were there.

Here are some pictures from his special day.

The fun started on Friday, the day before his birthday.

Henry’s teacher made him feel very special by getting him a birthday crown. She also gave him a framed picture of Henry making different faces with positive words about him on it.

Here he is posing in his crown after school on Friday.

He opened a two of his birthday presents on Saturday morning after his basketball practice.

After we played for a short time, we headed out to Philadelphia to visit the Please Touch Museum.

Henry really enjoyed the vehicles at the museum. He liked the India Exhibit where he pretended to drive a motorized rickshaw, called a tuk-tuk.

We all enjoyed the special, limited -time exhibit about India.

Then we rode the historic carousel.

Eventually, we made our way home and we celebrated Henry with cupcakes and ice cream. Happy 6th birthday Henry!
