Happy Birthday to Henry!

Henry turned four years old not so long ago. He is an active boy who loves playing with trucks, riding his bike and playing with his brother.

On his birthday, I made Iced Zucchini Brownies as his “cake”. They were a big hit and it was hard to tell that there was any zucchini in the brownies. Henry is more of a brownie boy than a cake boy. We also went to dinner at Red Robin, a family tradition.

I took a look at all the pictures that I had from the singing part of Henry’s birthday and almost every picture had some colored orbs. It could be lens flare or maybe some special guests were with us in spirit. I choose to believe the latter.
Henry worked hard to blow out all of those candles.
For his birthday, Henry got a big-boy training wheel bike. He likes to ride super fast. His brother was just a tad jealous.
Henry has already been out on his bike several times and he can go pretty far before he gets tired. On this particular trip, I probably took him too far from the car before we turned around because he got really tired and wanted to stop on the way back. This picture was taken before tiredness set in.
Henry had a special visitor for his birthday. Pap, my dad, came to visit for Henry’s birthday. Here Henry is wearing a cap that Pap got him. Henry loves to wear a hat.

Everyone knows that Henry loves trucks. He is a very blessed boy and received several presents in the mail for his birthday. Here he is playing with some new trucks from Aunt Heidi, Uncle Jim and Cousin James.
Big Brother Patrick was missing from this post so here he is in a picture wearing his favorite shirt.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Henry’s birthday a special one! He is a special boy.

I have been tempted in the last few weeks to get back on the social media sites but so far I haven’t caved. So since I am not there, you can check me out here. Here is a guide on how to subscribe.

Have a great night,

Katie

  1. Happy Birthday to Henry! Sounds like he had a great one. What a cool kid he is. But then so is his big brother and his parents, so how could he not be.

  2. I love the orbs in his birthday picture and I choose to believe your family is being visited by all the special spirits that are watching over and blessing your sweet birthday boy and you all…love from above. He’s a remarkable sweet boy and so is his big brother. So glad Pap came to visit..
