Preschool Nugget Is 5 Now!

Preschool Nugget was born on a calm, very early morning in late February. He is our quiet sometimes very calm child. He likes trucks, cars, tractors, the children’s show Blippi, running, and surprisingly singing. He loves Daniel Tiger and even sometimes wears his Daniel Tiger pajama top during the day. His preschool teachers have remarked that they are impressed with just how creative he is in his play. He likes to attach vehicles, bikes, and other conveyances at home to make creative vehicles and towing machines.

We are so happy that he is our son. We love that guy to pieces.

Here is an examples of something he made just a week or so ago.

This is what Preschool Nugget looked like not long after he was born.

This was Preschool Nugget on March 3, 2018. Now look at the picture below.
This was Preschool Nugget on February 27, 2023. The Monday after his birthday, I was invited as a special guest to his preschool classroom. His classmates sang to him and he got a special present from his teachers. I think he was a little shy because I was visiting.
Preschool Nugget blowing out the candles on his birthday brownies, because he likes brownies but isn’t into cake. Notice the Daniel Tiger PJ shirt that he already wore that day to Wegmans and Red Robin.
Here is Preschool Nugget making a many-layered car out of Duplos, this is one of his favorite ways to make cars.
Here is a picture of Preschool Nugget in the backyard hooking his lawn mower to his tractor. This picture makes me laugh because just last week he asked me to take the handlebar off of the lawn mower and I told him that it does not come apart but I guess this photo proves that I was wrong.

The week following Preschool Nugget’s birthday we visited Great Wolf Lodge. We all had a blast and had the opportunity to vacation with the boys Pap and Aunt Liz. A great time was had by all.

Preschool Nugget was excited and a little afraid to meet one of the costumed characters at Great Wolf Lodge.
Preschool Nugget came to the front stage and was inducted when all of the participants who finished the Magi Quest game were pronounced: “Master Magi”. The thing is, Preschool Nugget wasn’t even playing the game. However, his brother felt differently. Mr. Man, who was within 25 minutes of finishing, refused to stand in front with the other inductees because he wasn’t quite finished yet and he thought that wouldn’t be honest. Still, the fact that he wasn’t a Master Magi didn’t stop Preschool Nugget from coming to the front during the ceremony.
Preschool Nugget had fun Duck Pin bowling at the bowling lane at Great Wolf Lodge.

In conclusion, we love Preschool Nugget and think that we will keep him. Next year, he might be going to kindergarten in which case, he will need to be promoted to a new nickname. Here’s to our little Preschool Nugget.
